APPLICATIONS

SOMA SINUS SODIAL®
Pumps in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry

The leading companies in the cosmetics industry use SOMA SINUS SODIAL® pumps for the production of their commercial products such as hair shampoo, hair conditioner, skin cream and many other everyday cosmetic products.

Customers highly appreciate the gentle pumping of the product, which prevents both foaming and product separation. Furthermore, they value the constant and almost pulsation-free flow, which ensures process and product quality.

The gentle and laminar flow maintains product stability and ensures higher dosing accuracy. The product enters the pump chamber without any interruption. This ensures that tanks and silos can be emptied at a higher rate than compared to other positive displacement pumps.

Due to the (optional) integrated heating and cooling, a large variety of different products can be processed. The SOMA SINUS SODIAL® pump can generate a suction power of -0.85 bar.

Even highly viscous products can be pumped due to the always open inlet and outlet of the pump. Energy consumption does not increase at low or high viscosity.

Wear parts can be easily replaced on site in just a few minutes. In addition, the replacement of wear parts on site, which can be carried out by the operator of the system himself, enables both cost savings and a reduction in downtime.

It is also possible to clean the pump in the installed condition by manual or CIP/SIP cleaning. Due to this, the maximum hygiene is guaranteed. The SOMA SINUS SODIAL® pump can be made ATEX compliant if required. In addition, all built-in spare parts are FDA compliant and/or EG 1935-2004 certified.

The SOMA SINUS SODIAL® pump can generate a suction power of -0.85 bar.

The nozzle connections can be adapted to the existing piping system. Replacement of wear parts is possible on site without disconnecting the system piping from the pump.

The direction of pump rotation can be adjusted clockwise or counterclockwise, providing 100% flexibility.

To ensure optimum efficiency and minimize energy costs as well as pump wear, the pump size must be precisely matched to the process requirements.
